This is a contest entry for ErenJeager-FC , theme was "Eren in alternative universe". I know that Pacific Rim is definitely not very original idea, since every SNK fan who watched the movie got the thought in the first minute of the movie, but what the hell...XD
I've got three versions: blurred Eren and sharp Mikasa with Armin, version where's a sharp shot of everyone and since it's Eren AU contest, I decided to upload blurred Armin and Mikasa, to focus on Eren, but I feel kinda sorry for them...T.T
BACKSTORY:
Remember when it's said in the movie that "Germans are gonna go nuts for this [piece of a Kaiju]"? Well, they did.
Mikasa Ackerman, Armin Arlelt and Eren Jaeger are pilots of brand new fighting machines, supporting the "3P(ilot) manouver gear" and thus making the machine more capable and effective, which proved very useful against the second wave of alien attack.
Ultimately, after a lost battle when Eren seemed to be dead, the poor guy emerged from the ocean, not piloting a Jaeger, but his own Kaiju suit. And not only that. He seems to be able to drift with the kaijus, making them attack it's own kind. His brand new ability seems to come from top secret experiments made by his father, the man who came up with the Jaeger program itself.
Still, something smells fishy about it...
