So with all the moving and prepping for con, my "oh my I'm gonna go freelance" isn't really going so well XD SURPRISE. But hey, I still have till the end of may. If I don't earn enough to support my family and be able to afford something to eat, then welp, there goes my art career. Thing is, we moved pretty much into middle of nowhere and while it will help us financially, any fulltime work I find (IF) means several hours a day on a train and lots of lost time. I won't be able to draw if working fulltime somewhere else, that's a fact.
*TOSSES DOZENS OF UNFINISHED PROJECTS OUT OF WINDOW* bye comics bye games it was nice while it lasted
THINGS AREN'T LOST YET
What would really help me are COMMISSIONS (I'll be uploading the traditional ones in a bit) and MY PATREON. If you're not interested/able to afford to spend not even 2 dollars a month at my art, you can always REBLOG ANY OF MY PATREON POSTS ON TUMBLR. We will see if I can make it, but I appreciate any support, truly TvT
So me and kaifuu attended Animefest in Brno this weekend and let me say, it was AMAZING. We had our tables at Artist Alley along these lovely ladies Asano-nee saniika Aifumi and a few more. People were so nice and supportive like what the hell? THIS IS NEW TO ME. I LIKE IT. Also, organizators = my heroes. I've never met so capable people and I'm definitely going next year again.
It was exhausting tho and I feel bad for not being able to finish all the pieces people commissioned (THERE WERE LOTS, I'M SO HAPPY, THANK YOU GUYS), but I've met so many great people, like faQy - I almost died when she showed up, when me and Kaifuu got our hands on her sketchbook we were barely breathing ahaha, my fangirling was never higher. I've also met BucketLady - my favourite tumblr follower who showed up in titan pajamas. You made my day gurl, thanks for stopping by! I'm also really glad I could see the always amazing Alassa and her band of brothersCOUGHCOUGH, even if for a short moment. I wish there was more time to hang out together TAT
Here are some photos from the con that Kaifuu did + some commissions I've done
(I'm repainting that Anders rn, big thanks to Lady-Stage for commissioning it!)
Also I didn't have time to say this, but me and my family moved out from the city (actually the day before the con, the last few weeks were the most hectic and exhausting in my life I think) and we're currently living in a...well, chaos. The house we live in (YES WE HAVE A HOUSE HOW COOL IS THAT) isn't done yet, it has pretty much one room with floor the rest is a construction site ahahah...everything is covered with boxes...what I'm saying is there's a lot of shit going on and my inbox has thousands (literally) of messages. So please, if you wrote me in september and I still haven't replied, I'm SO sorry, but I will get to it eventually XD SORRY AGAIN
